Whether you are new to development and want to learn more about the field, or you are a development professional and want to expand your network, volunteering for NDOA can be a rewarding experience. One of the best ways to become involved is to serve on a committee. Here is a look at what the committees do:

Conference Committees

Recruit speakers and create a quality professional development experience for colleagues as you plan the NDOA Winter and Spring conferences held during the year. Time commitment varies depending on the time of year.

Programs Committee

Volunteers plan and implement Strategic Issues Seminars several times throughout the year. These sessions focus on key issues facing the development profession. Presented by top professionals in our region, these highly interactive seminars will help you succeed in the dynamic and challenging world of individual philanthropy.

Communications/Marketing Committee

Coordinates marketing and communications activity including:
Social media strategy for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
Website organization and content
