Facilitated Networking: The Art of the Ask

Speaker Bio: Debra Holland

Debra has been in been in fundraising for Twenty-eight years with an emphasis on annual, capital, major and corporate giving. She directed a $6 million capital campaign.  She has demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and motivate staff and volunteers to succeed and is adept at building cordial relationships with clients, volunteers, staff, and colleagues.

She currently is at Pacific Continental Bank as Relationship Banking Officer, Nonprofit Services Group, with a focus on nonprofit clients. She has served as Executive Director for two Seattle nonprofits: CityClub and The Arboretum Foundation. She formerly was Director of Development at Treehouse, Center for Courage & Renewal, First Place School, and American Lung Association of Washington.  She worked in development at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Audubon, WA. She coordinated marketing efforts for Benevon (formerly known as “Raising More Money,”) working closely with founder, Terry Axelrod.

Debra's past volunteer service also includes: Junior League of Seattle, Seattle Rotary Club # 4, Founder and first President of the Fran Nordstrom Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital. Current service: Stillwaters Environmental Center (Kingston, WA), Humanities Washington, and Sound Mental Health.

Debra graduated cum laude from Seattle Pacific University in 1980 with a BA in Communication.
