2012 Winter Conference | Session Information

Session Title:
Major with Little

Description:

Do you work for an agency that does not have a position dedicated to major gifts? Do you work in a one person shop?   Do you struggle with where to start or how you can possible do anything with major gifts?  Gina Hall and Shira Rosen have a combined total of 25 years working in small shops, with few resources directed to major gifts.  They have learned to work without a prospect researcher or major gifts office to seek out and acquire major gifts.

This presentation will include an overview of the work they have done, highlights of projects that have worked for them, and ones that have not. They will break the group into small discussion, and come together to share experiences. The workshop will be very interactive so everyone can share their experiences and we can learn from each other.
