Description: Interactive presentation featuring the College Success Foundation (case history) using social media strategies to attract, retain and mobilize constituents (students, educators, mentors, donors, opinion leaders and the media) for multiple purposes. Topics covered will include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, photo sharing, storytelling and more. Interactive format will provide time for discussion, sharing, and Q& A.

Speaker Bio: Dave Sharp
Dave has extensive experience leading and implementing successful communications, community engagement, fundraising and interactive marketing initiatives for large and small nonprofit organizations, government agencies, corporations and major media groups. Nationally recognized as a ‘strategic thought leader’ who can help virtually any type organization build strong communities and make dramatic strides by capitalizing on technology, innovative partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities.
Dave has more than 25 years of experience in senior management positions with Fortune 100 corporations, major national marketing agencies, media groups and nonprofit organizations and is an expert in developing and implementing cutting-edge integrated communications and fundraising programs that combine elements of branding, public relations, promotion, new media and events. He also has diverse nonprofit organization and government agency experience including Seattle Children’s, Group Health, Woodland Park Zoo, NW Trek, Seattle Opera, College Success Foundation, WA State Mentors, Puget Sound Partnership, and WA Dept. of Ecology.
